Liked: The staff is lovely, warm and welcoming!
Disliked: The hotel itself was fine even though they gave us the bottom level room which is noisy, but the dining experience left a lot to be desired. The food was overly ambitious and frankly not very enjoyable. The chef seems to be trying too hard to impress with bizarre and exotic combinations that just don’t work. A 5-star rating doesn’t mean guests want to be guinea pigs for experimental cuisine – sometimes less really is more. I would’ve preferred something simple and well-cooked over the strange flavours we were served. Definitely not what I expected from a supposedly 5 star hotel.
