Victoria Square Hotel Clifton Village

Chose somewhere close to Anson Rooms. Would most definitely stay again when next in Bristol. One of the friendliest hotels we've stayed in. Lovely room.

Liked: Friendly staff. Good, clean room.
Disliked: No bad points at all.

Disliked: Room poorly furnished and draughty. Not up to usual standard of Best Western. Not good value for money.

Great budget hotel

Liked: Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location. Spotlessly clean. Very dog friendly and great breakfast.
Disliked: Clean air charge. Had we known about it we could have avoided the zone

Lovely staff, nice rooms but...

Liked: Friendly staff and well-equipped rooms. The location was a 15 min walk from town and set close to the suspension bridge.
Disliked: Wafer-thin walls. I know this is hard to combat in a listed building, but I could hear people having normal volume conversations in their rooms on the floors below. The building has very noisey floorboards, which reverberate loudly throughout the building. If you're a light sleeper, this isn't an ideal hotel. I ended up leaving at 02:30 as I couldn't stand the noise.

Comfortable stay, close to amenities...

Liked: The location of the hotel which is on the no. 8 bus route straight into town which you can catch from outside Bristol temple meads station.Also very close to the amenities in Clifton village
Disliked: The fact that breakfast had to be booked before 11am. Also, no lift.
