Quality room to relax in...

Liked: Beautiful hotel, third time staying here, good breakfast variety, friendly bar staff (Andrea) and reception team.

Good hotel, breakfast & courtyard...

Liked: Location was great just a walk or Metro to all of the major tourist attractions. The room was well styled with good quality towels and robes. Breakfast was very good, lots of choice and a lovely outside seating area, a real green oasis.
Disliked: A lack of attention to detail. The room had no door hooks, not even in the bathroom. We only had 4 coat hangers in the wardrobe, for 2 guests staying 3 nights! More were provided on request. The carpet had been repaired and was wet, we approached reception and a lovely receptionist came to see, agreed there was an issue but she was unable to resolve it as all of the rooms were booked. On a couple of mornings the empty drinking water bottle wasn’t refilled/replaced, neither were the coffee pods. Again rectified after contacting reception. The internal shower door handle came off when you closed the door for a shower, the lighting was poor in the bathroom. There appeared to be a lot of members of staff hanging around in the reception area, chatting together but missing obvious issues like the large glass water bottle in reception (which was a lovely touch) being empty! I think the hotel has become a little complacent and appears to have adopted a reactive rather than proactive approach to guests. We were told that nothing was too much trouble, but the constant having to ask for simple things to be done correctly was tiresome.NOT exceptional.

Lovely hotel on the West...

Liked: Great location and lovely rooms. I was so happy to have good coffee in the room. We slept very well on the clean and comfortable beds, and the AC kept us nice and cool. We had a nice short walk to the Jardin de Luxembourg and then an easy walk to Notre Dame and some bookshops (the Abbey bookshop was fun!). Thanks to the reception staff and breakfast staff… the food was lovely and everyone was very friendly.
Disliked: Nothing!

Disliked: Sub standard gym and slow room service for food.
