Superb
Liked: Jan was extremely helpful, friendly and accomodating. We were made to feel at home. Little extras like a drink and Welsh cakes on arrival and chocolate bars instead of biscuits were appreciated. My wife even received a small unexpected Ibirthday gift.

Amazing Hostess
Liked: Jan, the owner, is amazing!! She made our stay ideal! We can’t thank her enough! Never before had we spent time in Wales and after a chat together my husband and I felt very comfortable on where to go. The area was not packed with people which made it a great place to absorb its offerings.

Liked: We loved our 3 night stay. There was so much to do nearby. Jan our host was extremely friendly and helpful. The property is located in the within a short walk of the castle, shops and food. Our room was quiet and the bed was comfortable. Great selection of teas and other drinks in the room. I would recommend .

comfortable and well-equipped room
Liked: We had a wonderful stay at this charming hotel. The hostess was absolutely lovely—warm & welcoming. Our room was cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. After a long day hiking, the relaxing bath was a real treat. The location couldn’t be better—right within the historic walls of Caernarfon Castle, giving us a truly unique and memorable experience. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area!

The perfect lodging for Caernarfon,...
Liked: if you like an in-town location (as we do) Victoria House is a gem. Ideally located on the inside of the old town wall, two blocks from the castle, the main square, restaurants and shops, close to the water (river and straight) and the marina, and yet quiet with a residential feel. The building is quiet, beautiful and well maintained. The owner, Jan is everything you would like in a host - welcoming, helpful and generous with local information. She provided a permit for the car park a 5 minute walk away and took us there to make sure there was no confusion. Parking is also available on the block, and we found parking there within 30 meters of the house on all 4 nights of our stay.
