A pleasant stay in a...

Liked: Friendly staff, and great evening meal at a very reasonable price.
Disliked: Wifi pretty much unusable.Couldnt face a full fried breakfast so asked for a bacon sandwich. Its probably put me off bacon sandwiches for life.

Liked: Location is a up a lot of banks to get to if your on foot.. taxies are just to busy to get you back up the hill to hotel from the centre but hotel is really nice..clean staff lovely..Could do with a bigger wardrobe.Non-slip bath Mat for shower I did ask for one and a mug but nothing.
Disliked: No hairdryerNo iron No fan in my roomCups to tiny No none slip bath mats in shower small cups

Beautiful friendly clean oasis

Liked: Lovley hotel spotlessly clean.Staff we very polite and friendly forgot bar ladies name on Monday night but she was very helpful on our pending trip into Edinburgh thanks .Food was very tasty and plentiful we had breakfast also had two evening meals very nice.Room was big and spotless also bed was very comfy
Disliked: The long walk to the front well the coming back was draining but that doesn't reflect on hotel just a long walk to front then on front no cafes or bars that would have been nice .

Friendly welcome

Liked: The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was quiet. We ate a perfectly acceptable veggieburger and chips in the hotel. We were just grateful they had a cheap room at the last minute as we had been let down by our Air BmB booking.The en suite bathroom was clean and the shower was hot.
Disliked: The room was very small and quite dark as the window was facing a wall. There wasn't much space to move around the bed.
