Beautiful and comfy hotel in...

Liked: Was originally apprehensive as it wasn't the usual big hotel but quickly I realised its a hidden gem - beautiful hotel will absolutely be staying the next time I am in London

Exceptional

Fine for the price but...

Disliked: The hotel as described on booking dot com is one of two with the same name. We arrived at the property but were sent down the road a couple of minutes away to a different building. The first hotel which they seem to have used for pictures is more modern and recently renovated. The one we were sent to was slightly less nice. This feels a bit disingenuous

Was close to what we...

Liked: Room was smaller than seemed likely from online pictures, but was mostly comfortable.
Disliked: The lack of refrigeration option anywhere on the premises was an issue for storing medication -- the staff told us the hotel fridge was broken for over three months, so we could have been notified of this well in advance.

Great for a 2-3 night...

Liked: Proximity to decent restaurants (Italian in particular), coffee shops for breakfast etc + excellent air con.
Disliked: Having to climb over bed to open/shut curtain and shower cubicle not very big and plug missing from wash hand basin

Disliked: There was no elevator and no one to help me bring up or down 2 suitcases so I had to do it all alone
