Victor Hotel - London Victoria

Good apart from too small...

Liked: Hotel was clean, staff were friendly and location ideal for us.
Disliked: The room we were given was a bit too small: the bed had to be positioned right against the wall and we had a skylight style window, not what the viewing photos showed! This meant no bedside table and one of us had to slide down the bed to use the toilet in the night!

Lovely stay in London

Liked: A very cute cozy hotel located in a lovely central neighborhood. The rooms were a bit small but renovated and very clean. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.
Disliked: The walls of the rooms were a bit thin and you could hear the house cleaning when they were in the next room vacuuming for example, or the people snoring in the next room. Otherwise it was very quiet.

Disliked: Room was very small didn’t like that one side of bed was up against the wall !! Made it awkward getting in and out for my husband!!

Not worth the money

Liked: The location. The Air con.
Disliked: No hot water, we were there for 3 nights and complained about the lack of hot water to which the response was “we only have one boiler.” We came early and asked to check in at the check in time, 14:00, to which the attendant (Luigi) said he was unable to say when our room would be ready, could be an hour or 2 or more. We stayed in LG4, which to be honest should be discounted than the normal rooms. We heard slamming and creaking doors from the service entry and noise from the street at all times of the night. When I did ask another attendant, he propped the door open at least to avoid the door opening and closing.

Liked: Good location, friendly staff, room was clean
Disliked: Tiny room, shower gave cold water from time to time, no facilities at all

Great location, fair price and...

Liked: Rooms were small though updated, good quality linen/ towels. Good shower. Jeffrey from the reception was very nice and friendly. Great value for the location, near underground.
Disliked: Mattress could be better. There was a foam topper that slopped down and I felt like was sliding off the bed at times.
