It was ok but could...

Liked: The location was great, a short walk to Rundle street and other sites.
Disliked: The rooms were dusty and not clean enough. You could clearly see the film of dust on the glasses and coffee station counter top. During our stay housekeeping did not have good attention to detail. We could tell they did a quick clean and “straighten up” the bed as it still had folds in the topper.

The Urban Retreat was so...

Liked: Super easy check in, the room was beautiful and clean. Lovely view of the hills. Walking distance to so many places, we walked to the central markets/Chinatown. The bed was huge and super comfortable, really good water pressure and heat. We also noticed how quiet it was we didn’t hear any noise other than a car here and there. We parked in a parking complex just down the road which cost an additional $50 which isn’t ideal, but can’t really help that.

Disliked: Poor noise insulation. Neighbouring room doors would bang and shake our whole room waking us up. Need to implement soft close doors. There was also a fairly unpleasant smell coming out of the bathroom drains .
