Great price, location, stylish and...

Liked: I was not familiar with the Vib brand, I booked it for the location and price for a tech conference at the Tempe Mission Palms hotel. Less than a ten minute walk. I was pleasantly surprised with the modern decor, clean and fresh. And no carpet in the rooms. First time I’ve seen that — much easier to keep clean, I don’t like walking barefoot on carpets in hotels. Lots of outlets for all your tech gear, WiFi was decent. Quality hand soap, body wash and shampoo/conditioner in large dispensers, not all those tiny plastic bottles. Really appreciated that. Lighting options around each bed. Comfortable beds and pillows. The in-room air conditioning was awesome, you could keep it ice cold of desired.
Disliked: These are minor, but I’m with The Accountant (movie), not a fan of their towels that were super thin and scratchy. Never could get the in-room Keurig to work. They have a small cafe area but no fresh coffee available.

Liked: Clean and modern. Didn't have the tacos from the lobby bar. Nice large lobby with seating groups and bar. Good restaurant easy two block walk away . Nice roof bar and view. Comfy beds. A good value.
Disliked: Paying for parking but that is typical these days. But it is on site and only $10 a day.

Disliked: The hotel is newer construction so it's still nice but based off of everything that we experienced during our stay this will quickly decline. No working ice machines we had to have a bartender get us ice from the roof. Fully booked property with only 1 very slow working elevator. Everyone was constantly waiting. Heated pool not working. Management was aware of all of these things going wrong during a completely booked hotel and did nothing to make this right. The shower water never really gets hot. No sign anywhere in the lobby for someone behind the bar or coffee shop when we needed an afternoon coffee. Parking is not free despite website stating free parking heated pool. Room was tiny. No closet. About 1 foot of space to hang clothes. There is a beverage cooler it fits some cans but no fridge. No where for left overs after a meal. Beverage cooler was frozen over when we arrived the ice chunk had taken over so even less room. The bathroom was gross. Floors not properly cleaned and drippings down the wall. Floors in the room didn't seem to be cleaned. One afternoon while showering room service knocked and wanted to come in even though we had the Privacy sign up I'm glad I had been out of the shower and caught this or they would have come in. I sent message after message after message about the freezing cold pool this was the main reason we picked this hotel our room price was over $250 a night for a freezing cold pool broken elevators and no ice machines the property did nothing to remedy this while I was there it did feel like they fixed the pool by the last day of our stay after multiple messages. The location seems great but it's tricky to get in and out of the parking because it's off of a one-way and if you want to walk over to the Entertainment District you have to go around a huge fence it's just an odd location. Take your money elsewhere this place was a ripoff. We road elevators with many others flustered with their stay.
