Great venue and location but...

Liked: Location, very close to lively part of South Beach, lots of bars and cafe nearby plus 100m from the beach. To put in context I would say the location is as close as you can get to the beach in that area without paying 3 times as much for a stay. As far as the venue itself, I found the staff super helpful, they sorted out an excursion to the Everglades and addressed every issue immediately, Facilities are excellent, the lobby area is spacious with lots of sofas you can lie in. There is also a room specially to work in, an area to sit in around the pool and good onsite food. Loads of other nice touches, like free coffee in the morning, and the ability to buy things like muffins and sweets and even sunglasses for less than at a convenience store. There's even free ear plugs by the front counter which I'll come to later.
Disliked: The bed, top bunk is relatively high up and ladder not so comfortable to climb. The biggest problem however is the venue often has parties and doubles up as a club in the pool area. The music can get very very loud and can go on till 2am. On one night it wasn't so bad, it finished around 12pm but on the second night the music was noticeably louder and went on till 2am - I used the ear plugs, plus my padded over ear headphones but could still hear it, to be fair I think it was just an over enthusiastic DJ and possibly a one off as other people complained as well. I also think how much the noise is depends on which room they put you in as walking down the corridor I couldn't hear it as much

Best hostel! Across the beach...

Liked: One of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed. The room was spacious, the AC worked great and lots of activities arranged by the staff. They were very friendly and also it’s in the middle of it all in South Beach.

Value for modest budget.. not...

Liked: Location and free parking .. fast response from hosting team on what’s app
Disliked: The unit with out working plugs.. only one it’s working.. burnt out main lamps .. no mantianc team available to solve any problem during 5 days … alot of crawling insects around your unit.. you have to close your door very quickly ..
