Met our expectations

Liked: Very good value for money. The accommodation is basic, but that’s what we were after. Beds were very comfortable.
Disliked: The bathroom needs a bit of work, but it was nice and clean.

That’s about it don’t recommend...

Disliked: 1. Poor conditions of the room - smelly toilet (which extends to the whole room), dirty/stained towel, noisy overnight, cold overnight in winter with lack of heaters - only had one very thin blanket.2. Poor customer services, very rude on the phone

Disliked: My review: Don’t stay here. We left after one night of misery. Difficulty unlocking the front door late at night; no lift; smells like urine; shared bathroom and showers for both genders, flimsy shower curtains, thin plastic partitions, tiny area; dirty; can’t close windows properly; noise from building works outside all through the night; half the power points don’t work. ‘Michael’ - the manager - needs investigation. He won’t give you a refund and neither will booking.com.

Liked: This hotel meet my families need to sleep my wife and I plus two young adult children.The location is excellent, with easy walking to the numerous Darling Harbour attractions.The kitchen is a great facility for preparing breakfast.Our beds were comfortable and the bathroom next to our room was something really appreciated staying in room 4 which also had a small fridge to keep food, very good.We also were grateful for the laundry facility to wash and dry a load of clothes and to iron my shirt before attending a friend's wedding.We traveled from New Zealand and needed somewhere affordable for us which this hotel provided.
Disliked: It would have been nice to warm the bedroom at night as it got quite cold.Bedside table and lamp was something it missed however I did find a bed side lamp,muliboard and extension cord, and a hairdryer in the laundry so made use of them, and for a bedside table I made use of a stool which was spare in the hallway.I found that the shower arm would not stay upright so I secured it to the shower curtain rail with a piece of sash cord.The toilet seat needed to be made firm as it was loose and moving a lot. I bought a set of Allen keys and tightened it up. The bathroom window needs the sash cords replaced so that the window can be easily opened and left up when needed to dry out the bathroom.I think a longer shower curtain would be beneficial to help keep water inside the shower area and avoid water going to far around the toilet area.It ceramic stovetop in the kitchen was not working so I was not able to cook as much as I would have however I did make use of the microwave to prepare scrambled eggs for breakfast.
