Overall, it was well worth...

Liked: The location was perfect for getting to the carferry. The room was clean and comfortable.
Disliked: Would have preferred the deadbolt on the door worked. I checked in late night and the front desk seemed a bit imposed upon even though the open sign was on and the door open.

Pleasant

Liked: A bare bones stop out of town. Missing a few light globes and somewhat rundown it was nevertheless fine for the small$$ for one night

Liked: Good place to stay to get on the car farry

Great value, close to the...

Liked: Friendly staff at check in. Nice spacious room, hot shower, fridge and microwave! My room was clean. Single serve coffee maker in room as well!

Expensive and bad

Liked: Towels were nice
Disliked: Was not clean … open the door and it hit the bed .. bad smell in room….when we turned the air on it smelled moldy and very loud. I could go on about more things but I will stop. Would not stay again. Sorry to have to write a bad review.

Don't flush after 10 p.m.

Liked: The location was convenient. Mr. Nate was delightful to deal with. When I checked in I added a night to my reservation. He invited me to add another if I decided to and quoted a price.
Disliked: I decided to add one more night due to weather conditions. His wife dealt with me then and attempted to charge me 20% more than was quoted. I objected and she conceded but began to complain that I made too much noise (room 30) as her daughter who shares a wall with the bathroom could not sleep. I'm an old man who uses the facilities three times during the night. The dress down, associated with my use of the room in no disruptive or unusual way, ruined the vintage, motor lodge vibe for me.
