Liked: Beautiful old style hotel. Loved the elevator. You have to stay here to see it. I won't spoil the surprise.
Disliked: I'm not sure if I stay here in the middle of summer how hot it will get as there's no Air Conditioning.

Liked: It was next to the beach fresh air and it was quiet at night ..
Disliked: Nothing really bad about the location except parking choices for limited had to pay $30 compared to $60 down the street .

Liked: Staff all friendly, short walk from Santa Monica.
Disliked: Smelt funny in the corridors, could hear people’s footsteps in all directions. Could hear above room talking. We was in the bottom room and we woke up one morning to a homeless man sleeping the other side of our bathroom window which didn’t even lock. It was an up sliding window that could easy fit a person through, could easily be pushed up from the outside. So we never felt safe with leaving our stuff in the room.

Liked: Clean and right on the beach walk with markets out front.
Disliked: No one at reception when arrived, but arrived shortly after which luckily stopped the panic as I couldn’t ring phone number on door with overseas phone, and had car and luggage hovering in the street in no parking zone. Could hear every bang from every room around us. Narrow bed, although bedding was comfortable. Glass door to bathroom so limited privacy. Parking hard although this was mentioned in original booking. Would definitely stay somewhere with easier parking in future as ended up sorting suitcases out in a car park near airport.
