How much does the Valley...

Liked: Very nice comfortable beds and pillows. Very clean and well maintained rooms. Quaint feel. Safe and well lit complex.
Disliked: Booked room with Priceline/bookings.com on-linefor $100.88,.. but then Valley wouldn't honor the booking even with a confirmation number confirmed and I showed them the screen-shot from my phone I took with the confirmation number given. They charged my CHASE debit/credit card $192 then another $33 more for a two bed room "upgrade" like we had thought we had already over-paid for. So $212 total draining my checking account AND my wallet and my partners pockets too, for a less than 9 hour stay since we had to be out by 11:00am . (after being told NO after asking to be able to check out at noon for a late check-out since it was about 2:00am by the time we got checked in).. First they said our "reservation" must be at Motel 6 just down the road. So before we were able to even check in we had to walk down the road to Motel 6 , where we were told our reservation WAS with the Valley Hotel, not them and they were booked-up full that night anyways.Since Paul and myself were both on foot and it was very late and after midnight; we had no choice but pay whatever they demanded we pay them (which was all the cash we had in our pockets and everything In my checking account too). After thinking we were getting a fair price booking online @$100.88 only to arrive by the last running bus, and then be extorted for all the money in my account, and then all the cash we had together as well... and then not be able to check out at noon like I thought they would at least allow us to do ! Management called us at 9:45am to tell us 10:30 was checkout but they gave us till 11:00 no later! And they called again at 10:50am to make sure we would be out then.I am recovering from an accident where I sustained a broken neck and was looking forward to soaking in a warm bath 🛁. By the time my friend had had a shower, I didn't have enough time for a bath OR a shower; I didn't get to sleep-in, or even bathe at all!

Liked: Big room and kitchenette. Nice people working there. Close to good restaurants.
Disliked: Watch your receipts!!! They charged a double deposit but in all fairness I got it back they were receptive and polite.
