Very disappointed and uncomfortable.

Liked: Location to ski resort
Disliked: I am so disappointed with our first experience at Vacation Village in the Berkshires. First. Upon getting into our room I felt like I was walking to into a motel room from the early 2000’s versus a condo vibe as they market the units. There was a kitchen, which was nice and had supplies to cook/clean (dishes, pans, soap, sponge) however there was no directions with the coffee pot for the pouch of coffee they supplied. Like most hotels the unit of coffee or machine it’s self explain how much to use or what to do with the “pods” etc. Not a huge deal but just lack of detail for guests who may not know. I also noticed that the shower did not have any shampoo or conditioner, only a single bar of soap. The room was very outdated and the bed was horribly uncomfortable. In the middle of the night we were woken up by other guests that we could hear through the walls, so the rooms were not very private or insulated well. The main door to access the two units from the hallway is suppose to be closed and only accessible via a keycard. However every time my daughter and I came back to our room, the people in the other unit had left the main door to the hallway propped open with the door stop so anyone could be in that area. Overall the stay was not comfortable due to the room and the fact that you could hear others in adjacent rooms or above/below you very easily. It was very overpriced for the quality and experience. We won’t be going back. The Wyndham resort across the street was a world of difference as we had friends staying there and visited and it was much more comfortable and appealing in all aspects.

Weekend getaway

Liked: The location is nice I've stayed here 4 times already the views are nice the price is reasonable alsp
Disliked: The shower door kept coming off the track ...the bathroom sink took forever to drain and the hot water in the sink barely got warm... and none of the phone buttons worked on the room phone so I had to go up to the main office to get more towels and tell them about the problems and they didn't ask me if i needed a new phone or say they will send someone to look at anything wish they did because i came up there to get engaged which I did but wish I didn't have to deal with the problems

Wonderful, Family Friendly resort!

Liked: The pool was so great for the kids! It was awesome that is was a quick ride to the mountain. Rooms were clean and spacious! Looking forward to coming back in the summer months.
Disliked: The rooms were slightly dated but still very clean and comfortable and a great value overall. The kids were a but disappointed some of the games in the arcade room weren't working.
