Disappointing - 2 out of 5

Not recommended

Liked: I needed to stay in that area one night by convenience to take a tour the day after but I won't stay again.
Disliked: There are so many stairs to arrive to the room and there is not elevator, no handy when carry heavy suitcases, the hotel does not look clean in general, the bed lining were so stained not sure they were freshly changed, they don't offer luggage storage.

Disappointing

Liked: The location was good, very convenient, the room was clean.
Disliked: When we checked in, we were told that someone will buzz us in when we return (no time limit). When we returned at 2am, and rang the buzzer, there was no answer, we rang /called for 20minutes. Until another guests also returned from a night out, and apparently some guests get the main door key and others don?t, and the receptionist was away from the desk. It just felt like a really dangerous situation, coming back to the hotel and not being able to get in at all, especially for a woman at night, expecting to be safe when I can get to my hotel.

Liked: I like how the bed is right next to the window and how cute the room is
Disliked: There was mold in the shower and the shower head didn't even stay on the wall. There was also a pair of sandals under the desk

Not worth the money

Liked: Nothing
Disliked: Nothing really the staff was rude and I had to go down stairs for a remote control. After I got back up stairs I found out the television didn't even work so I had to change rooms and had the same problem

Basic room in great location...

Liked: We really liked our stay at the hotel! It has the perfect location, short walking distance to the subway. The room is basic but completely appropriate. You get what you are paying for (cheap but basic).
Disliked: Furniture is a little old :-)

Disliked: Jeg prøvede at kontakte Booking.com med følgende klage men kunne ikke finde den rigtige mail, så nu får I andre lov at læse den i stedet:Dear Booking.comI am contacting you regarding my stay at U.S. Pacific Hotel in New York between December 26th 2019-January 2nd 2020 which I unfortunately feel the need to complain about.I booked the hotel for a holiday with my family, a total of 3 people, and we had booked two double rooms.Already from our arrival the first thing the receptionist did was apologise about our rooms being on the 3rd floor as he could see my mum wasn?t that young and he thought she would maybe have some trouble with the stairs, and without us asking he suggested that we could probably move to some other rooms within a few days as at this point these two rooms were the only available ones (in the end we never got the chance to get other ones). At this point we hadn?t even seen our rooms yet but the receptionist had already given us an idea that something wasn?t right.The real shock came when we actually saw the rooms. From the look of them the best way to describe them would probably be like prison cells and not hotel rooms. Each room had a size exactly twice the size of a bed, somewhere around 6-7 square metres per room, which barely even left room for our luggage on the floor. They had no windows, and the worst part... no bathroom (even though our booking said that we would have an in room shower). We mentioned this to the receptionist who just waved his arms, pretending to no understand, even though his English had been fine only a few minutes before.There was no housekeeping during our stay, which we knew already, but both rooms where filthy and gross already from the moment we got them.
