A reliable favorite

Liked: It truly feels like coming home. Once again, we had a wonderful time at the Upsun Hotel.And just like last time, it was especially the people who made our stay so incredibly special.Fernando, Luna, Emilio – and really everyone – are so friendly and always ready with great recommendations for restaurants and activities.The beach area where the hotel has its loungers is fantastic, and Lea and Pancho are also incredibly kind and helpful.We will definitely be back!
Disliked: It would be great to have a few more shelves in the bathroom – especially for us girls, since we often bring quite a bit of cosmetics

Disappointing

Liked: Luna at reception was excellent, very warm, friendly and helpful. Have us tips on where to go and what to do. She's a real asset to the hotel
Disliked: The restaurant and bar were closed, which was a bad start as this was not noted anywhere when booking, or even during our stay. So the hotel lacked a nice vibe, and we were for ed to go out to eat and drink. The balcony is tiny. Hard to fit 2 people standing. And the noise from the street with card revving and racing up and down ALL night made sleep impossible! Wouldn't stay there again

Disappointing

Liked: Luna at reception was lovely and very helpful, giving advice on what to do and where to go.
Disliked: The restaurant and bar were closed, which was a major dampener. The balcony was tiny .. hardly space for 2 people to stand. Phone didn't work. Also the noise from cars revving and racing up the street ALL night made sleep very difficult. Wouldn't stay there again.

Disliked: They came to the room before it was time to check out but other than that everything was NICE

Good location and friendly staff

Liked: Very friendly staff, excellent location, nice comfortable bed, good wifi
Disliked: The floors in the room were never broomed so they were very dirty, we didn’t have many towels, the counter space in thw bathroom was too small, lack of shelving, and lack of space in the actual room for our luggage. We could hear when our neighbor got in their room. Pool was small and inflatables were a bit dirty

Liked: Staff were great aand tried hard. Decent situation in Miami Beach
Disliked: Place is being run down and too few personnel to run it all. Pizza place run out of the hotel closed months ago but still has big pizza sign outside. Ceiling in room was a block of concrete Bar had limited hours. No breakfast or food available despite tables laid out. But found good nearby place for breakfast.

Lovely hotel, affordable room with...

Liked: I really loved the pool and the floaties in the pool. The staff was also amazing and everyone did their best to accommodate me. They went above and beyond for me and I really appreciate their support throughout. The bed was very comfortable, and I even had some Prosecco on arrival and water available in my room, as well as a mini fridge and makeup removing wipes which came in handy.
Disliked: The building still has room under construction, but it has great potential and I don’t think there was anything bad about it.

Disliked: Wish there were umbrellas for the rooftop.Also a shame that the bar wasn’t in use as really nice area to sit in.
