Upper Canyon Inn & Cabins

Great stay, definitely would recommend....

Liked: Property Location was great, remote location, grounds/property was well maintained. Nice/designated area for dogs which was great and within walking distance from our cabin(12). Dog bags were also provided. Small but cozy cabin, good size for the 3 of us and our fur baby! Beds were comfy, not bad at all. Shower pressure was good, temp of hot water was great! Did have a grill and smote outdoor seating on the patio but did not use. Kitchen was small but great, two small electric burners. Refrigerator worked great.
Disliked: There was no more than 2 towels in the room which was odd for total # of guests that stayed. When I asked the front desk for more towels, they made it seem like I was wrong but cleaning staff forgot to stock which was okay but kept saying "are you sure there are no more towels" Only one of the bedrooms had a ceiling fan, if you like the rooms cold leave the AC unit on while out and about. You do have to leave the bedroom doors open at night in order for the rooms to be cool, which was okay but not preferred. Outside grill could have been cleaned a little bit more.

Liked: It was closed to town
Disliked: The electric fireplace worked but the wires we’re sticking out. So it looked dangerous. The smoke alarm beeped while we were sleeping so we didn’t know if there was a fire. Called staff but they never fixed it. Probably won’t stay there again.

Cozy "suite".

Liked: The location is excellent. The host was very nice. The tv, bed, jacuzzi, shower were all excellent and clean. The room was cozy and there were extra blankets and recliner chairs. The only thing that wasn't clean were the windows/mirrors. Downtown isn't very far and there are a couple little restaurants within about 10 minute walk. The only complaint I really have is that there is a lot of traffic on the main road and it can get a little loud.
Disliked: Mirror cleanliness and traffic
