Liked: Convenient close to excellent restaurants. Comfortable clean room . Exceptional staff particularly Aakash was very kind and helpful

The good and the bad.

Liked: Clean comfortable beds.
Disliked: Too loud. The noise outside kept us awake to midnight and then woke us around two with more noise. The pool had a dog inside the gate and several people had food and glass bottles with no one monitoring the area. The poolside bar never opened.

Ok apart from the staff

Liked: Handy location for downtown Durham. Had an internal room (no window) which was actually fine- only used the room for sleeping/showering!
Disliked: Staff were rubbish. Took ages to speak to you. When I checked in I was told I needed to pay even though I had paid in full 11 months ago. Staff member called booking.com to confirm I was correct. Same thing happened when I checked out- why hadn’t the first member of staff noted this on my booking?? Thought I was going to miss my taxi to the airport with all the messing about, was not happy!
