Liked: Established hotel in a pivotal locale
Disliked: Had to ask for a blanket

Disappointing on cleanliness levels and...

Liked: Location was good - close to kings cross station and bars/restaurants
Disliked: Not very clean, old curtains falling off the rail, bathroom was dark and dingy and the door had a massive hole in it as though someone had punched it… staff weren’t at reception frequently. elevator was very dodgy. Didn’t feel super safe so I checked out a day early.

Liked: The receptionist was friendly
Disliked: The bedroom was dirty, the bathroom was dirty, the bathroom door did not close (the door was of a larger size), there was no hair dryer, the bathroom door had the mark of a fist bump.The bed is uncomfortable, they only pass you 1 pillow per person, the bed moves when you lay down. Poor quality TV, there was only 1 fork, 1 spoon and 1 knife, 1 plate. There was quite a sewer smell in the bathroom. There is quite a lot of noise from other bedrooms and outside, they are fixing a building next to the hotel so you hear noises very early in the morning.

Personally wouldn’t recommend this place...

Liked: The location was great. Staff was okay, limited to fikking forms and receiving payment.
Disliked: The pictures are misleading with the real room. It’s an old building (which is not a big deal for me) but some parts of the ceiling of the room were coming out. There were 2 light bulbs in the bathroom and one was not working and the other one wasn’t bright enough. The extractor of the bathroom was very noisy. The quality of the mattress wasn’t great, I could feel the springs of it when I laid down. In general the quality for the cost of the room was very bad, I am not peaky at all but for 20 or 30 bucks extra you can find much better rooms and if you have a cat I would definitely consider going a little bit further from the city for a much better stay.
