David, Rainier, visiting Roseland Theater

In general, I wasn't very happy with my stay. Between the breakfast, shower head and the cleaning staff in my room WAY too early it was very disappointing to say the least. If I ever come back to Portland, I will be staying somewhere else!

Disliked: The cleaning staff was in the room cleaning at 9:40 am. I had to ask her to leave - she scared my fiance by just coming in that early. The breakfast was shut down before it was supposed to be. I was there at 5 til and all food was gone already! The shower head was worthless - it didn't even difuse water. It was like not even having a shower head!

Great for a comfortable and...

Liked: The rooms were clean and comfortable, a little bit outdated but it didn’t bother us.The staff was nice and the breakfast was just what we needed (light but with options).
Disliked: The location is right next to the university, which is an about an half-hour walk from everything in downtown Portland. For us it was great because it gave us the quiet we needed, but you should consider it’s not in the middle of everything.

Clean room and friendly staff.

Liked: The location of the hotel was very convenient for walking to eating establishments and other shops. The hotel staff was very helpful and pleasant. The rooms were clean.
Disliked: The breakfast was not at all what was described on the booking site. The mattress was very uncomfortable. Paying for parking after paying for the room seems like a bit much but it was not an inconvenience.
