Exceptional

Liked: Great location. Bought the 3 day cable/muni pass and enjoyed being able to jump on and off and get everywhere easily. Also, very walkable if you feel like hiking the hills.
Disliked: The historic feel was really charming. It was quiet and clean.

Overall I was most pleased.

Liked: Location. DR. Staff. Athletic facilities. Staff. Truly excellent. Enjoyed the press club memorabilia.Breakfast with a light Buffett is a nice touch
Disliked: My room was on the first floor near the door to the rooms. I worried party folks would keep me up. One night they did but other nights were not a problem. Elevator could really use a fresh coat of paint. It is for many the first real impression of the club.

Wonderful place to stay in...

Liked: Great location on top of Nob Hill, wonderful staff and a great gym with all kind of equipment. Will be back when I am going to San Francisco next time.
Disliked: Don't expect a great breakfast there
