Liked: location was great the guy checking us in was a little rude but overall the rest of the staff and stay was amazing. i will definitely stay here again.
Disliked: the only thing that was a inconvience was the fact we had to get out the car to have someone open the gate there is card scanner to park your car

Nice Motel, Iffy Location

Liked: Staff was very friendly and accommodating. We asked to switch to a downstairs room so it's easier for our toddlers and they followed up the following day and helped us with the switch. The room itself was clean. Sheets were clean and the beds were comfortable. I love the convenience of the kitchenette in the room with the stove, microwave, and full size fridge. The bathroom is pretty clean as well and they provide toothbrush and toothpaste along with the usual toiletries. Convenient location right on the PCH with stores and restaurants nearby.There's a little market in the back of the office where you can buy some snacks and goodies. They have free popsicles for the kiddos in the market.
Disliked: Walls are thin so you can definitely hear people upstairs and in the next rooms doing things I didn't want my kids to hear. Our week-long stay was pretty uneventful until the last day when some commotion was going on outside our rooms. Even though it was 8 am, I didn't feel comfortable loading our luggage in our car while all that was happening. Area of the motel is kind of shady and had a few nights where I woke up to sirens and loud bangs (could be fireworks but one was undoubtedly gunshots). Over all, there are definitely pros and cons to our stay. I wouldn't mind staying here again as the facilities are pretty decent and clean. Definitely one of those "don't judge a book by its cover" places as the outside can give off a sketchy vibe but the rooms are really nice. Definitely would bring a pepper spray and lock the doors at night. But the value for our stay, the friendliness of the staff, and the cleanliness of our room makes up for the negatives.
