Liked: Central location, many good crêperies around, wifi works
Disliked: No sound isolation, tiny shower, bad breakfast, problems with a/c (eventually resolved), fridge not working

Disappointing

Disliked: The bathroom floor was flooded with toilet water. It was clear that this was a pre-existing problem that was covered over as there were already towels on the floor when we arrived. When we reported this we were not offered any compensation even though it was quite horrible to use the bathroom. The attached photo is from when we arrived, before the problem got a lot worse.

Liked: Nice small hotel in the nice neighbourhood. Close to the Metro. A lot of good places to eat around the building. Really friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Elevator, big window. Super quality for the price!

Liked: We were travelling through Paris for one night. We travel and stay in Paris frequently. We enjoyed the accommodation and for what we paid it was perfect. So given the price and location to Montparnasse Station, I think it was a good choice. The Staff at the desk were very friendly.

It is an insult to...

Liked: The hot water and the bed
Disliked: The room decor and facilities were extremely tired. Many of the lights including the bathroom light did not work. Sparks were emitted when removing a plug. The shower cubicle was so small that you could barely close the door and bending down to pick up soap was impossible. The hairdryer did not work and one wardrobe door was misting and the remaining one was nearly off its hinges. Whilst standing in the lobby, a mouse raced through the breakfast area.
