Great place, a bit dated,...

Liked: Location, location, location and at a great price. It an old building but this little hotel is in the middle of it all. Stones throw from Cuba and 5 minute walk to the waterfront. We had the van parked right in front of the entrance way but that does cost extra. Rooms are clean and fairly well cared for.Very quite for a city hotel except for when rowdy neighbors come in from a night of partying. Staff are very nice and accommodating.
Disliked: The continental breakfast is not really worth the money and is pretty sparse. A slice of bread each, some butter and jams, a piece of fruit, always the same, and a small bag of muesli. Not really enough to get you going for the day.

Liked: Good value for money
Disliked: No access to a tap for drinking water, just a single bottle of water provided which was unable to be refilled.

Am old building converted into...

Liked: A funky hotel in a great location. Getting in was easy with the key boxes.Great location and our park was great.
Disliked: Was quite cold when we came in but the heaters in the room heated the rooms quickly.There weren’t many power outlets and none but the bed which was a bit inconvenient.

Liked: Clean lock box easily accessible clear prompt instructions via email cute quaint hotel our second time using. Thank you

Liked: Easy check in. Great location. Comfy bed
Disliked: Doors is adjacent hallway are noisy when opening and shutting. Would prefer fresh milk rather than creamer.

Great central stay

Liked: Great location, close to everything - 10min to te papa, round the corner from Cuba st room was very clean
Disliked: It’s a bit tired - bed and blind could do with replacing, the stairs can be quite noisy. If you struggle with stairs just be mindful this building doesn’t have a lift. Not a big deal for us.

Good and cheap, would stay...

Liked: The property was clean and easy enough to find. I had been a bit worried about car parks but the street if free 8pm-8am and there were plenty of parks. There is also a paid car park there as well. Beds were comfy, the shower was nice. I stayed with my two children in one of the private rooms.
Disliked: The only bad thing I found was that you could hear peoples movements outside the room but that was all.

Comfortable stay close to central...

Liked: Great location, walking distance to main streets but on a side street away from busy areas, good value for money. Cat park can be added across the road for convenience
Disliked: They ask you to email your ID in advance but I wasn’t comfortable with this. When I called to ask they said I didn’t actually need and they would send instructions anyway
