Ty Newydd Country Hotel

Tired old hotel needing work.

Liked: Good size rooms and bathrooms.
Disliked: No hot water when I wanted to shower at 7.30am.

Very decadent place with poor...

Liked: The house itself and the park surrounding it, lots of parking space
Disliked: There was no hot water in our room. We were told when we arrived in the evening and offered to cancel without penalty. Our room was right above the restaurant and we could hear constantly the noise from the vents (even if the hotel was empty).

Stayed 1 night evening meal...

Liked: Nice place to eat and quiet
Disliked: Nothing

Liked: Was a lovely place room was very big , whole place was beautiful, food was lovely and very cheap we ate every night
Disliked: It needed bits and bobs doing that would of been an easy fix

Disliked: We thought the room could do with some refurbishment and decorating.

Liked: The peace and tranquility of the hotel and location

Great value for money

Liked: The location is fantastic and the staff are great - helpful, polite and pleasant. The hotel itself could use a bit of modernisation. Given the value for money is good - all the basic needs were met. If it would get at least a touch of tlc it would regain its lovely charm without loosing the character
