Liked: Beautiful location, very quiet and tranquil.The food was amazing, menu perfectly sized and the mornings bakery was stunning.Great value for money.The hosts were very friendly, welcoming and helpful.'Buster' the golden retriever was like therapy.We will most definitely be returning for another stay.

A gem of a place...

Liked: David is a superlative host. We ate at the hotel and it was of a very high standard, served in an efficient yet quiet atmosphere. We didn't feel rushed nor did we have to wait for our meals. An excellent selection of wines was available and, on Saturday, the hotel reception morphs into a bakery which is patronised by many local residents. I can't speak highly enough of the welcome, the food , the drink, the company and the wonderful location. And, Buster the dog deserves a mention. he's curious but not overbearing and is quite happy sitting beside you, as long as he gets a stroke now and again.
Disliked: The fact it was only a three day stay. Could have stayed longer!

Beautiful house with exceptional staff.

Liked: We had such a warm welcome. Had a lovely relaxing sit in the garden on arrival with a delicious coffee and cake brought to us immediately. Our room was a delight overlooking the beautiful garden. The bed was super comfy. The full English breakfast was delicious. It's a gorgeous house. I wish I owned it!
