Liked: Excellent location – right across from the bus stop and walking trails. Perfect for a short stay or a rest stop. The room is very clean and tidy, with great lighting and ventilation. The bathroom is spacious, and the bed is super comfortable.

Liked: Friendly efficient staff, only met Carole and Poppy, amazing chef, super food.

Beautiful hotel in the heart...

Liked: It’s set in a very beautiful location. Loved seeing the resident geese and ducks wondering around. The food was very nice. The room was huge with lovely views. It’s a very characterful property with lots of old world charm
Disliked: The double bed was very small. Perhaps we arrived at a busy time but found it difficult to get a clean table to have lunch despite there being plenty of tables

Friendly staff

Liked: Very friendly staff in a cosy inn right in the centre of the moors. Dog friendly.
Disliked: Some decor could be updated / refreshed.

Lovely setting.

Liked: The beautiful setting and the hotel interior of the public areas.
Disliked: The twin bed room on the ground floor just past the public lavatories was very small and didn’t look like the rooms on the website. I wondered whether we were given this room because we were two women, myself and daughter, travelling together. At first, we were directed to a room on first floor but were hurriedly redirected just as we put the key in the lock. Although I have stayed several times with my husband in the past I don’t think I’ll risk the Two Bridges Hotel again.
