A nice comfortable place in...

Liked: I liked the location, everything was in walking distance and the beach was only 1 kilometre away
Disliked: The motel is undergoing a much needed renovation but my room hasn't been done yet

I was quite comfortable there,...

Liked: the room was spacious and clean. I felt safe there. It's a great location. And affordable. A couple of blocks from the beach, shops are within walking distance. Easy to find. My room was unexpectedly upgraded :) there is a swimming pool and parking out the back. I liked that I could phone the owner and they answered the phone! they came to give me the key which was nicer than a locked box.

Disliked: I had a dust allergy from the room and they wouldn't change rooms or give me a part refund. I decided not to stay for the night I was booked in and drove back home..

underwhelming for the price

Liked: Great location, nice and close to most things.
Disliked: Was very old motel, bathroom had tiny shower not very clean and next to no water pressure.very basic room, "queen" bed was just two singles pushed together, only two pillows for "queen bed" no spares in room.

Liked: The property is old and basic, but the facilities were immaculate, and the bed was exceptional! Absolutely loved the bed!

Overinflated price for (solo traveller)...

Liked: Central location. Friendly staff. Might be a good affordable room when travelling with group/family.
Disliked: Rundown room. No blankets left in the freezing room. Only found out late at night, so couldn’t sort it out. Split system might heat it up, but not my preference.Shower old, but clean & warm.Main bed were 2 singles put together. Poor room & bedside lighting. Location was my need, but I should have checked the (lack of) reviews.

Do not book this place

Liked: Nothing I didn’t get to stay there, They said they had no booking
Disliked: The staff were rude and unhelpful, I know other people that had booked this place and when they got there they had no booking like me, I would recommend staying anywhere else but here because you will turn up and they will tell you they got nothing and walk away from you, Totally destroyed my holiday for Cooly Rocks as I couldn’t get accommodation anywhere close then.
