Great for a weekend break...

Liked: The hotel is in a great location on the edge of city. Shoreditch Hight Street station and Liverpool Street station are within easy walking distance. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast had a good selection of fresh bread, pastries, fruit, cereal, yoghurts, ham and cheese, fruit juice and tea / coffee.The hotel room and dining area were clean and well maintained. There is a lovely outside seating area which is surprisingly peaceful, bearing in mind the location. Spitalfield market is just around the corner with lots of street food stalls and everywhere is within an easy walk.
Disliked: We booked a room with a window but the window was frosted and only opened a fraction at the top. We weren't expecting an incredible view but it would have been nice to see out of it. The room is a bit small but was fine for us for the one night that we stayed.

It was ok.

Liked: Staff were very friendly and the room was very clean, but tiny -and I'd had to pay extra for a window! The garden is lovely. There were tea/coffee machines in the lobby, but no kettle in the room so that's a bit disappointing if you want some tea when you wake up.
Disliked: The breakfast was a bit random - no hot food - the boiled eggs were cold, but the yoghurt was nice, and although I didn't mind checking myself in, it all seemed bit de personalised, as if you're hoping to get rid of staff completely.

Disliked: The wheelchair accessible door, that I had to ring staff to open the door and operate the wheelchair lift . Not ideal on wet days
