Tullyglass House Hotel

Lovely wedding venue, poor accommodation

Liked: We stayed at the hotel as wedding guests. The wedding venue, food and staff were exceptional. The accommodation was terrible.
Disliked: We paid £205 for a residence superior room. The room we got was not a residence superior room. The windows in the room had obscured glass, they looked out onto a flat roof with other rooms looking in. The electrics in the room were not safe, the wall socket was a round pin socket and there was a 4 plug extension lead on the dressing table. The bathroom floor had a drain which we considered to be a tripping hazard. There was some sort of brown liquid seeping up through the bathroom tiles. In the corridor leading up to the room the floor was on 2 levels with a single line of yellow tape along the step to highlight the change in floor level. We heard several thuds during the night with guests tripping/falling down the step.

Liked: We were upgraded to a superior room with balcony staff went above and beyond food was amazing
Disliked: No entertainment as such guy sang for 1.5 hours approximately. Bar lacked atmosphere

Disliked: Price of £200 for one night

Pleasant

Disliked: Bar staff were useless didn't know how to pour a pint of guinness came with 60/40 beer/head and got charged different prices for the same order throughout the night

Good met up with friends

Liked: Lovely gardens and friendly staff.
Disliked: Room was a bit disappointing but the room was warm and quite a heavy quilt in very warm weather.

Great hotel and amazing staff...

Liked: The staff on the whole were amazing but on Sat. morning there was a member of the kitchen staff, a mature lady who was very rude and dismissive to another member of the catering team who started to make my omelet. He was incredibly friendly, helpful and started to make my omelet but she came from the kitchen pulled a very aggressive face at him, said something to him which I did not hear, he apologised to me for not being in a position to finish cooking my food, he then went back into the kitchen, she pulled another face to me, rolling her eyes and nodding towards him. I refused to engage with her as there was nothing he had done to warrant her rudeness. The gentleman was a man of colour and I would say her behaviour was racist !

Disliked: Very few disabled parking spaces, none close to the residences.
