Liked: The castle is beautiful and the stories that go with it make it very intriguing. We had room 15, it is simply stunning. What an amazing way to relax.

Fabulous place to stay.

Liked: Fabulous, loads of character and lovely helpfull staff. All the meals excellent, service super quick. Parking easy, loads of stairs but a good way to work off all the food.
Disliked: Nothing , we loved everything about it.

Liked: Nice grounds and location.
Disliked: Very dated interior, room was very hot. No bottled water and very few toiletries (basic shampoo and shower gel only) provided. There was an outside light right in front of our window which shine directly into the room all night. Poor value for money.

Exceptional

Liked: With a balcony room overlooking the town and vista beyond, really made us feel like we were royalty. The staff were great, and looked after us at dinner at the in house bar.

Disliked: Very small room on 2nd floor. No offer of help carrying luggage up many stairs . No comfortable lounge area and bar was set up like a restaurant with no comfortable seating and they had the radio on complete with adverts.
