Comfortable stay

Liked: Location was good and price for two nights very reasonable. Room comfortable and had all basics. Food and drinks on site very reasonable and other options very close by.
Disliked: The room had basic toiletries no shampoo or conditioner and basic toilet paper. Iron and board had to be requested from reception. Lots of dead flies around all windows.

Quite a good stay, but...

Liked: Comfortable bed, good bath and shower. Poached egg on toast for breakfast very good. Convenient parking. Polite staff.
Disliked: Cleaning wasn't as thorough as it should have been. We discovered a hair grip on the carpet in the bedroom. Breakfast table in restaurant was sticky. Waited 45 minutes for our evening meal after ordering.

Well worth a stay

Liked: The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was very clean but the bath had a few chips out of it. The restaurant was very good. The carvery meal was very tasty. The staff in both the restaurant and the hotel were very nice and friendly. The restaurant even allowed us to bring a birthday cake in and supplied us with tea plates, knife to cut the cake and spoons. The breakfast was very good too.
Disliked: The chips in the bath.

Disliked: Found some staff poor in attitude.Lack of air because our window was not governed to the same opening as others...including our son's along the same corridor. . It would scarcely open.I am severely claustrophobic so asked staff if anything could be done.One member of staff listened the other two did not want to know and just gave out the safety and hotel policy stuff.Being seasoned travellers and adults we were of course already aware of this.At no time did anyone offer to come and look at what we were talking about.We had a choice of moving on or finding a solution.We found our own solution but would not stop at this hotel again

Liked: Very handy to have the ability to grab a meal just steps away from the rooms.
Disliked: It was all good.

Disappointing

Liked: Plenty of parking, close to alternative eating establishments, 12 mins from spalding.
Disliked: Rubbish was split for recycling & waste.More than shocked for two staff members to advise it all goes into one bin, Recycling is a very important issue, and I'm suprised your establishment doesn't take it seriously.
