Perfect location for a fun...

Liked: Our room was really lovely and clean also very spacious. We were out the back so it was very quiet, you couldn’t hear the road. Great location to a couple of restaurants and the beach. The spa bath was great, very big! It was a perfect stay.
Disliked: Nothing.

Decent but beware of the...

Liked: Rooms were clean. Great location for airport. Staff were helpful and friendly.
Disliked: They put me in a room direct overlooking the main road which was very noisy. When I requested a quieter location apparently the only option available was $50NZ per night more which I ended up paying so I could be sure of sleep.

Good place to stay if...

Liked: The staff was very friendly and helpful. The apartment was quite large with a table for eating and writing and an extra comfortable chair. The motel is quaint. The apartments look like half-timbered houses. Probably the reason for the reference to Tudors in its name.
Disliked: It was a bit noisy. Our apartment was really close to a road with a lot of traffic early mornings. Walls were thin. We could clearly hear neighboring guest taking a shower and going to the toilet.
