The Tudor Farmhouse Hotel is located in the historic village of Clearwell on the fringe of the Forest of Dean and the Wye Valley. The building's stunning original features include massive oak beams original paneling an oak spiral staircase and a large rough stone inglenook fireplace in the attractive lounge. Will 100% be back

Liked: We loved the style of this property. The bed was so comfortable. The whole place was perfectly clean and smelt fresh. Towels were amazingly soft and fluffy.Everything about this place was brilliant The breakfast was sublime
Disliked: There were people in a room above our room and we found that a bit noisy.Apart from that, we could not fault anything

Fantastic food and exceptional staff

Liked: Exceptionally clean, rooms well equipped and the staff were so polite and helpful - nothing was too much bother for them
Disliked: The walls of the room are very thin. Was woken up in the night from loud snoring coming from another room

A cosy corner of the...

Liked: A very cosy corner of the world - very comfortable (lovely mattress), good shower and very tasty food (we had a lovely breakfast). Parking was easy too - and there were chargers so we needn't have worried! We also enjoyed our packed lunches.
Disliked: Better pillows
