Loved the resort
Liked: We had dinner at the restaurant and it was very good. The blueberry pie for dessert was not good. Loved the room, loved the CD in the room to listen too, pool, grounds. Did not have time to try the spa. Would have liked to tour the area on a bike.
Disliked: The Blueberry pie dessert at dinner. Was terrible.

Very enjoyable property
Liked: The room was a neat Spanish style influence. Very clean. Swimming pool was nice with the cabanas. The beautiful grounds are very well maintained.
Disliked: The beds are horrible and the shower/toilet area very small and dark. The kids on scooters and bikes riding through the property was rude and annoying.

Very relaxing resort which exceeded...
Liked: The location is beautiful. It is located at the foot of mountains and has a running river (unique in Arizona) nearby.

good EXCEPT the water issue
Disliked: There is very little water available on the property. Two small bottles in the room, a small water container in the lobby and a small container in the spa. NO WATER WHATSOEVER AT THE POOL EXCEPT PAY FOR SMALL BOTTLES IN A VENDING MACHINE CLOSE TO THE POOL AREA (but outside the pool gate). This is INEXCUSABLE for a ‘SPA RESORT’. I come with friends every year and every year I complain about the lack of free available water IN ARIZONA HEAT - especially at the pool area. I am from Tucson so I know the importance of constant water drinking to stay safely hydrated but I suspect guests from other places do not. It’s a health risk and expected in AZ to have water stations to refill water bottles easily available.
