I stayed at the Trylon hotel - it's close to everything. I had a great time. I would recommend the Trylon hotel to anybody.

Liked: It was a nice place; room was clean; the bed was comfy; the staff was friendly and very helpful; it was very close to the Hollywood Bowl for the Janet Jackson concert. I had an awesome time I'd recommend the Trylon hotel to anyone I recommend the trylon hotel to anyone within walking distance to just about anything Hollywood Walk of Fame, Pantages Theater, Chinese Theater - you name it. Have a good day, thanks for everything.
Disliked: No, everything was wonderful. Had a great time; nice location; everything was awesome.

I don't recommend this hotel unless you can't afford anywhere else.

Liked: Not much really.
Disliked: Tiny room; owner barely spoke English; couldn't find our booking information; place smelled like curry.

Decent hotel if you want...

Liked: Walking distance from some restaurants and shopping areas.
Disliked: Parking was 20$ and had to walk about 5 to 10 minutes away from the hotel to the parking area by chevron gas.

Ok for one night due...

Liked: Great location close to walk of fame
Disliked: Unforeseen parking costs at $20 per night that were not clearly announced in Booking - that might also be Booking's fault for not putting it up at the beginning of the announcement and only in fine print. Terrible check-in process: I was alone and had to call to understand where to park to be able to check-in and then get parking permits (for which I had to pay) - there was absolutely no communication from the hotel with me beforehand.Not so clean.

If you can make an...

Liked: The location is amazing just blocks away from the Hollywood bowl and the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Disliked: The bed was probably the most uncomfortable hotel bed I have ever slept in, but keeping in mind the price and location we decided it was ok. The parking is slightly off property at a nearby gas station. Our car was safe at the gas station for the 4 night stay, but I was slightly worried about damage or a break in. Ended up being fine but not exactly an ideal parking situation, would have been nice to know this detail beforehand.

Liked: price, location, cleanliness were fine. They had parking nearby at $20 a night which is much less than large hotels charge. Room was small but quiet,
Disliked: The free soap could have been larger, it's an older hotel with small rooms. But for me and for the price it was near perfect. I have stayed in Hollywood before several times in Air B & Bs but for the quality and convenience this was better.
