Trylon Hotel - Hollywood

I stayed at the Trylon hotel - it's close to everything. I had a great time. I would recommend the Trylon hotel to anybody.

Liked: It was a nice place; room was clean; the bed was comfy; the staff was friendly and very helpful; it was very close to the Hollywood Bowl for the Janet Jackson concert. I had an awesome time I'd recommend the Trylon hotel to anyone I recommend the trylon hotel to anyone within walking distance to just about anything Hollywood Walk of Fame, Pantages Theater, Chinese Theater - you name it. Have a good day, thanks for everything.
Disliked: No, everything was wonderful. Had a great time; nice location; everything was awesome.

I don't recommend this hotel unless you can't afford anywhere else.

Liked: Not much really.
Disliked: Tiny room; owner barely spoke English; couldn't find our booking information; place smelled like curry.

Liked: Great location and super friendly staff.

Good location but dirty room.

Liked: The location is only a couple of blocks from Hollywood Boulevard so easy walking distance to everything.
Disliked: Our bedsheets and towers were dirty/stained and the sheets weren’t even put on the bed properly we had to remake it ourselves. The bedroom floor was filthy too we got dirty feet as soon as we took our shoes off.

Disliked: No pool, no parking, no ice, outside street parking, drug needles, human poop, and homeless and sketchy people walking around. Saw a small cock roache

Liked: Stay at the Trylon Hotel when I'm attending a concert at The Hollywood Bowl..traveling alone It feels safe and close to the . ..venue..
Disliked: Nothing.. Like it.!

Liked: Staff werr very friendly and accomodating. As a solo traveller I felt safe staying in their hotel.
Disliked: The facility is a little rundown but its clean so its okay!

A family owned hotel that...

Liked: It was well maintained. The courtyard off my room was beautiful. The building appeared to be loved by the owners. You can tell they try to keep it up and make it feel comfortable and nice.It was very close to the walk of fame!We got a discount at a nearby coffee shop and market for staying at this hotel.
Disliked: The parking situation was frustrating. Maybe I’m too used to places where parking is a part of the stay, but we had to pay $20/day and park at a gas station 2 busy crosswalks away. But atleast it was an option. Cause street parking was nonexistent. The sink in the bathroom was “fancy” but there was no water pressure and it felt like the faucet was going to just pop off.

Liked: Its close to universal studios
Disliked: Lets see from the cigarette burn marks on the sheets. Plus the parking is not at the hotel its at a gas station. Oh thats a extra 30$ per day. The owner said it was on website, bs. The AC barely worked. Honestly it looks nice in the pictures but the owners need to put some money back into the infrastructure like AC units.
