Trumbull Marriott Shelton

The hotel is very nice and have a lot to offer. I was very surprised that the refrigerator wasn’t working and we found stuff on the floor which shows the room wasn’t cleaned thoroughly.

Liked: The location was good.
Disliked: My refrigerator didn't work while we were there.

Liked: Location, outside / inside pools
Disliked: When we called the front desk asking for more towels and coffee we never received any towels or coffee

I did like the grounds!...

Liked: I didn’t enjoy my stay, i think it wasn’t worth the price point i had a better stay at the holiday inn.
Disliked: I thought the bathrooms would look better for a Marriott. I didn’t like the carpet of the overall look of the room. I thought the hallways were outdated I’ve stayed in better Marriotts. The fridge was super small couldn’t fit much in there and the doors are thin.. i could walk the hallways and hear several different conversations while walking to the elevator. To add insult to injury, i still haven’t received my security deposit back and it’s two days short of a month since my stay.

The bed was amazing!!

Liked: The bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in!
Disliked: The deposit took too long to go back into my account, it's been a week and it still isnt there. Also I dont understand why there is such a significant difference in the deposit if you used cash instead of putting it on my card.

Not completely satisfied traveled by...

Liked: The pool access acomidation space was good.
Disliked: My toilet ran all night. Going to load our luggage out the car luggage racks were not big enough and the wheels need grease hard to push. Get to the room 2 occupied and 1 wash cloth 2 hand towels no towel asked hsk.for towels said i had to call downstarirs took an hour and had to call back for reminder. 1Room key didn't work ask for hsk.staff for help didn't have time asked us to go back down stairs .

Liked: The staff very kind.
Disliked: The room Service time, took longer than expected.The pluming was not well drains were clocked in room. There was towel in room with stains.

Disliked: Everything is fine except for putting another hundred dollars down when we checked in although we already paid in full beforehand.
