I really enjoyed the vibe and style of this hotel. The rooms are minimalistic but have everything that's necessary. The bed was clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.
Liked: Hipster paradise, kind of industrial atmosphere. Staff was very friendly and pleasant. Rooms are recessed so any noise from the hallway is pretty muted. The restaurant was tasty and pretty fairly priced.
Disliked: While there is a coffee shop in the lobby I would have liked a coffee pot in my room. I'm a serious caffeine junkie and I was up a few hours before the coffee shop opened.

Private and quiet. Overall a great place to stay.
Disliked: The restaurant closed at 11 p.m.

We're happy we decided to stay at the Corktown Hotel, so great to see the area getting a boost. The hotel is in a great location, convenient to lots of activities. The room and general facilities were nicely done and comfortable; staff were welcoming and very helpful, and everyone we spoke to there, including other guests, helped make our stay great. Highly recommended!
Liked: Great room; staff was friendly and helpful; will book again for future trips to Detroit!

Disliked: Worst hotel stay ever. Sheets had cigarette burns and bugs. Was rated pleasant on the site - clearly a lie.

Liked: My stay here was actually better than what we expected. We had heard bad reviews but we stayed there anyways because it was cheap and it turned out to be great! I would stay there again.
