True North Motel

We attended a concert at the Black Sheep so it was great that we just had to cross the street! We would stay again.

Liked: Clean; comfortable; friendly and helpful staff.

My room was comfortable and clean. Worked perfectly for my show at the Black Sheep right across the street, since I didn't have to worry about parking or driving home after! Big room, lots of space. Would stay again.

Liked: Friendly staff.

We would stay again. The best part of the whole stay was the fact that the concert venue was right across the street. Rock on 10 Years!

It was comfortable, clean, and...

Liked: It has a fenced area to walk the dogs. Beautiful garden area, with seating, a barbecue, and table. The sheets and towels were soft and good quality.
Disliked: Better doors would make a big difference.

We had a peaceful comfortable...

Liked: The garden is exceptional, very tranquil feeling.It was a nice cool place to hang out in the heat. Also it was a plus they have a snack vending machine and a soda vending machine and their laundry room is quite nice.
Disliked: The location is off of a busy street and the parking lot is smaller and hard to turn around in but manageable

The entire experience was unpleasant...

Liked: The bed was mostly comfortable. The guy cleaning was nice.
Disliked: The bed was dirty with debris and hair. One of my windows only had a “privacy” curtain that was mostly see through. I used a dirty blanket off the bed to cover this. The area is terrible, although I should’ve done my research as it was my first time in the area. I stayed with my dog and had to walk at least 5 blocks to get to any grass which was annoying. I was talked to and stared at by multiple other guests and traveling as a female this was very uncomfortable. What better can you expect from the cheapest place in town, though. Just spend the extra money per night on a chain.

Liked: I left specific instructions to only let the person I rented the room for into that room.they checked in two people, exactly what I asked not to happen
Disliked: That was supposed to be in this box

Liked: Staff are nice rooms are cozy

Lower priced - but LOUD

Liked: It was fairly inexpensive.I watched them clean the room.The air conditioning did work. Very noisy - but it did work.Bed was ok.Shower was mediocre.
Disliked: Location was on Platte, close to Union.LOTS of noise, all night long. - Even wearing ear plugs was not enough.Smell of Marijuana much of the night.Did not feel safe at night - kept a knife next to the bed.
