Liked: Very clean and friendly staff

Breakfast was less than what...

Liked: Room was extremely nice and clean. Slept very well.
Disliked: Breakfast wasn’t acceptable. Very crowded at 8am and couldn’t get a quick bite. Eggs were gone and waiting. Same with regular coffee. Settled for decaf. Not a hotel I’d use again factoring in they offer a free breakfast.

Simple and comfortable

Liked: Clean and simple, the price was great. Staff were friendly and the room itself, while small, was very comfortable and clean.
Disliked: Breakfast was picked over, needed to be refilled or restocked. The coffee was empty the day we arrived around 4pm and was empty again in the morning for breakfast, so maybe just quicker/more staff to restock.

Exceptional

Liked: It was right around the corner from where we were going. And it had an inside pool.
Disliked: We were out of body wash for the shower. And our AC quit working at about 11:00pm at night and nobody downstairs would answer

Safe, clean and comfortable beds.

Liked: Nice first time at a Tru hotel.
Disliked: The loud annoying music in the lobby when I checked in. Was hard to hear the man behind the counter because of the music. Prefer relaxing calming music. The self pancake machine wasn’t working. No one wiped the breakfast tables between patrons. Trash needed to be emptied at breakfast area. Bath towels were rough and thin. Could invest in better quality bath towels.

Liked: This was our second stay at the Tru Hilton Troy and again we enjoyed ourselves. When you enter the atmosphere is so relaxed.
Disliked: Well, I still think the breakfast could be tweaked a little bit. Let's have some real breakfast sausage.
