Tru By Hilton North Platte

Refreshing restful… yet fun!

Liked: Friendly, fun, clean, mínímalist decor of clean white linens, especially liked the Non-carpeted flooring!
Disliked: Only…. The taste of the water in the breakfast space. However they have filtered water was great by the ice machine.

Disliked: Shampoo VERY irritating to the eyes

Liked: The bed and pillow were the best quality of all the hotels on our trip…by far!

Disliked: Need some repairs in the bathroom. Breakfast definitely could be improved.

Overall I was disappointed in...

Liked: The location was good. The hotel was clean. It was close to Peg Leg Brewery and Capone's Bar and Grill. We ate at Capones. It was good and we could walk to it from the hotel.
Disliked: I requested a non-joining room on the top floor. We were assigned a connecting room on the 3rd floor of a 4-floor hotel. Finally was assigned a non-connecting room on the 1st floor. The rooms are much smaller at this Tru hotel than at other Tru hotels we have stayed in. It was very cramped even for two people. The ventilation system was noisy and did not have a "constant" fan switch. The hotel was fairly quiet.For some reason, the blankets provided by Tru hotels are very thin. I had to request another blanket which was brought to our room.

Very basic room, pretty uncomfortable....
