Great Location, Loved it for...
Liked: Location - within walking distance to the USCIS Office, and several restaurantsBreakfast included with quite a few choices for food and beveragesVery friendly staffClean place all the way aroundRoom was sufficient for our one-night stayBathroom is nice size, love that they use refillable big installed bottles for shampoo & co
Disliked: Room had no view other than the wall of the next building which I could have almost touched if I'd have opened the window (just mentioning this, not complaining since we only stayed one night). A different roll-up shade maybe with a city or landscape scene would be better instead of the generic pattern.Breakfast while a good selection could be of better quality - cook scrambled eggs a little longer, make sure waffle irons are turned on, add other than just syrup for toppings, use better bakery for the muffins (tasted like Walmart-brand-lasts-forever-prepackaged).Could you use reusable cups, plates, and silverware? You are already washing other dishes anyway - would it not be more efficient to use reusable wares? Could always use disposables when there's a huge crowd expected and you wouldn't have enough staff to make sure everything gets cleaned up between guests.

Disliked: The worst hotel experience I’ve ever had in my life – and I travel constantly for work.I booked a room at Tru by Hilton Minneapolis Downtown through Booking.com, with check-in on Tuesday and check-out on Wednesday. Due to a delayed flight, I arrived at the hotel at 2:00 a.m., only to find the doors locked and not a single staff member present.I rang the intercom multiple times with no response. I tried calling through the Booking.com app, searched for the hotel’s number on Google, and called several times—no answer. I confirmed the address, compared photos of the hotel entrance to what I saw—everything matched. And still, no one opened the door or responded. I stood outside for over 30 minutes, in the middle of the night, with a job interview at 11:00 a.m. the next morning. With no alternative, I had to find another nearby hotel — the Autograph Hotel, where I received excellent service — but I had to pay again for a night I had already paid for, simply due to Tru by Hilton Minneapolis Downtown’s utter incompetence. And it gets worse.I called on Wednesday to report what happened and spoke with Bryan, who I understand is the property manager. He said he would “look into it” and get back to me. He never did. I called again on Friday and was told he wasn’t available. When I finally spoke to him, he claimed I was never there, saying he “checked the cameras.” I described the hotel entrance and lobby in detail — something he couldn’t refute — but he still insisted that the front desk attendant had been there all night. That’s a lie. I stood there with witnesses. No one was at the front desk. The hotel was completely unattended.Thirteen days went by without a single response or refund. I had to reach out to Booking.com directly to step in, because the hotel ignored all contact.I’ve traveled for years, stayed in hotels of all kinds — from 2-star motels to 5-star resorts — across dozens of cities.

Over paid , understaffed ,...
Liked: All was good with the room
Disliked: We had a situation someone stole our food , I know its not the hotel fault in general , but policy should be changed before something worse than stolen food happens , security is horrible understanding it was concert night but , random people who where not staying at the hotel where wandering around , and the staff seemed to be unable to handle the situation. I food got taken right off the table , they knew who did it and made zero to no real effort to correct the situation or remove the guy who did it , until I let them know that while I was there trying to come to some resolve with them I would take it upon myself to remove him. (He was eating the food in front of them that he stold). This could of most likely been resolved by having the lobby locked and staff watch the surrounding or , having food delivered to the front desk and stored for guest to come down. Hotels policy seems lazy for charging a premium rate for the concert that night and not adding extra help ! Thats why I gave a low review. What if rooms where broken in , guests got assaulted or worse !
