Wonderful relaxing escape from home

Liked: The breakfast was great. The hotel was immaculate and considering the number of kids and families that must move through the halls, it is extremely impressive. We needed some extras delivered to our rooms, towels and blankets, service was extremely fast.
Disliked: The only struggle was that elevator! There was an elevator that wasn't operable the entire trip. So, one elevator with guest luggage, beach supplies, and the staff trying to do their jobs, it was just terrible. Also, I don't recall being told about the parking fee. I think that should be called out a bit more when booking

Great hotel!

Liked: We loved the breakfast area. So many places to sit & peacefully drink your coffee & eat breakfast. We liked the updated/ modern feel of the hotel. The location was great! We could easily walk from the hotel to get food or ice cream & we did! I had leftovers & they provided a microwave in the lobby, along with snacks & drinks. The beds were comfortable & Netflix & Disney Channel were available to login to if you had an account. Wi-Fi worked. We will definitely be back!
Disliked: The elevators were extremely slow. The water in the sink had a sewer smell to it sometimes. The condensation from the AC was making puddles of water on the ground. Eggs are powdered. Coffee wasn't unavailable in the room, you had to go downstairs to get it.

Disappointing

Liked: Close to beach
Disliked: Charging for parking which is open car parking not closed one

Liked: Hotel cancelled our reservation without informing me. They put us in a really bad spot when we arrived, forcing us to scramble to find a new hotel at the last second. Ended up staying at the San Luis, which I’d highly recommend over this hotel.

Terrible experience

Liked: Location
Disliked: The fact I requested an upper floor with an ocean view balcony, and was given the lowest floor with a view of the emergency room. Not at all what I paid for

Good

Liked: balcony with ocean view was worth the price; kind and helpful staff; great location
Disliked: it was uncomfortably hot and humid in the elevator and in the hallways; water pressure in the shower was not very good and the room did not feel super clean

Very good

Liked: The room was great and the free breakfast was awesome close to the beach was the best.
Disliked: That I had to pay 20 dollars for parking in the hotel lot when I had already paid 171 dollars for one night I feel the parking should have been free I was staying there already why the extra charge for parking.

Juneteenth overnight stay.

Liked: I was really happy with the price and the location of my room they have it towards the front a real great Oceanside view
Disliked: I didn't like that the room came with a shower only so, my wife complained about not having a bathtub to soak in.

Would definitely choose this hotel...

Liked: Above average breakfast. Pancakes and fresh yoururt were a real treat and other pastries were unique breakfast. Large space with more than ample room in lobby and common area
Disliked: Only 1 elevator was working causing longer line and delays during the day
