We had a trouble-free experience...
Liked: Breakfast was good. There was a wide food selection. 24x7 coffee is an excellent idea!
Disliked: We didn’t like having to pay for parking.

Liked: We have stayed her multiple times and the facility is always clean and very welcoming.
Disliked: However, the last couple of stays the breakfast has gone from really good to just ok. Pancakes are great but everything else is way too salty. Also whoever thought it was a good idea to charge for parking, when your guest have already paid for their room, needs to reevaluate their thought process on that. Bad idea! The water pressure in the shower is great but the sink has barely a trickle. All in all as much as we like it here I think we will be looking for a different property next trip.

Good value overall
Liked: Comfortable bed and pillows, very clean.
Disliked: The rooms are a little small as are the walkways around the beds. Also, we were surprised to have to pay to park overnight. We weren't in a big city so it seemed like a greedy thing for the hotel to charge to park there. We might avoid Tru by Hilton in the future if all else is equal.

Overall very poor experience.
Liked: Great location
Disliked: On Day 1 the toilet in my room was not working and we had to manually open the flush to get the tank filled. When i left in the morning i requested for the flush to be fixed and wet towels taken out. We came back late at night and nothing was taken care off. At 9 pm Tanya offered to shift me to a diff room which we did. Unfortunately that room 211 had an extremely loud AC unit and it could not be controlled. I called again and was told a maintenance man would show up but no one did. At 10 pm at night i could not turn off the unit -- the thermostat just did not work so the unit keep running loudly all night long and it was freezing and I could not get a wink of sleep. When I checked out the next morning i requested for the staff at the counter to ensure they refund me back the one night but i still got charged fully for both days and the manager that was supposed to call me never did! I called back again today and same story -- telling me that the manager will call me which I am sure is not going to happen. Unfortunately we dont have time play phone tags. Pl refund my stay. Lastly this is my second time staying there and my last visit was fine. I am also booked to come back in 2 weeks which I will not be doing anymore considering the experience. Thanks.
