Superb

Liked: We appreciated that breakfast had a couple of less-processed items than standard at similar hotels (e.g., plain oatmeal with dried fruit and almonds to top it). We loved the foosball tables and games in the lobby.

Exceptional

Great place to stay.

Liked: The breakfast was good. Had a good number of choices to choose from.
Disliked: I would add pastries and muffins to the breakfast.

Pillows were TERRIBLE

Liked: Staff was great, lobby was nice.
Disliked: Room was small, pillows were TERRIBLE; collapsed to nothing when you laid your head on it. My neck still hasn't recovered.

Liked: We always value the minimalistic clean vibe of Tru and the early breakfast availability works with our schedule.
Disliked: There was a crowd of guests who appeared to be utility workers smoking at the entrance. With them was a Tru employee. One had to cut through the smoke to get in the lobby. Once in another group of utility workers was flirting with employee behind desk. The whole scene was more bar like than hotel.
