Large hotel with great rooms,...

Liked: Spacious lobby with games & lots of sitting areas.
Disliked: Pool wasn’t yet open.

It was bad

Disliked: The air conditioner was not working. They couldn’t put me and an another room. It was 98 degrees. Nobody could help me at the site. Could someone help me get some of my money back. The lift at the pool forHandicap was not working.

Disliked: Hotel is NOT ideal for single travelers. I would have canceled my reservation if I were alone. Elevator broken had to take stairsOffice chair had visible stains on itShower had noticeable stains..clear indicator room was poorly cleaned and not sanitzed. Especially since this is a pet friendly hotelNoise level not acceptable for the price of hotelFront Hotel entrance door didn't require a key to enter afterhours. Liked: Close to Kings Dominion
Disliked: We booked this particular property because of the outdoor pool. However, the water was so cloudy. You couldn’t see the bottom even in 3 feet. The water really should be treated. Also when I went to check in the person at the front desk, didn’t know what he was doing and tried to charge me again, even though I already paid through booking

Liked: I like that you could hangout in lobby area playing at the pool table or just sitting around
Disliked: What I did not like was the hotel smelled clean but the elevator smells like dogs. Also the contential breakfast could be better

Disappointing and dirty

Liked: It was close to 95 and restaurants. The front desk receptionist was very nice.
Disliked: It was dirty, the trash outside was overflowing the whole time we were there. No one ever cleaned it. There was trash on the ground on many places on the property. The pool was small, but so dirty and murky I wouldn’t let my kids swim. Breakfast was bad, not many choices, it was the worst breakfast I’ve ever had at a Tru by Hilton.
