Troy Inn and Suites By IHG

Saw a different side of Detroit on this trip. Being from the West side of Michigan I have not been impressed with the Detroit area in the past. I guess I was just on the wrong side of the tracks on prior visits.

Liked: Clean and friendly. Atmosphere.
Disliked: None come to mind.

Going to be a beautiful...

Liked: Although the overall hotel was being renovated, our room was beautiful and very comfortable. Once it's completed, it will be a very nice hotel.
Disliked: The construction noise and drywall dust.

False Advertising

Liked: The hotel was comfortable however I only booked it to get in the pool their pool and most of the hotel is under construction. Which the hotel says has been for a year.
Disliked: No pool no breakfast!!!

DO NOT STAY AT THIS...

Liked: Kori is unprofessional and despite screaming from the rafters that she has 20 years of experience in hospitality management, she acted like this was her first interaction with a human being. Disgusting greasy stringy hair too but that's none of my business...
Disliked: The room was 200 dollars despite the pool and hot tub being closed and there only being a grab and go breakfast. When I asked to speak with a manager, Kori said "there isn't one" and refused to get one of for me.
