Great for the night, if...

Liked: The aesthetics were very cute! The downstairs lounge wasn’t open but was adorable and I could see it being a good hangout spot. They provided lemon water in the lounge. Microwave was available when asked about. Great walking distance to the superdome! Parking lot right next door for $40 24hour fee.
Disliked: During our weekend stay they were renovating the upstairs lounge which was one of the main reasons we chose the hotel. We weren’t informed it would be closed until we checked in. The front desk was very apologetic about that though. Also, the room & sheets smelled of strong mildew/humid air. The bathroom was cute, but the toilet made a weird noise everytime we flushed. Also, walls are paper thin, just that heads up!

Excellent, clean, quiet hotel just...

Liked: The hotel was conveniently located about a 15 min walk from The French Quarter. There were great restaurants located nearby for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The hotel staff were very accommodating and professional. The rooms were adequate with a mini fridge, a Keurig, and even a clothes “steamer”. The shower was huge and water pressure was excellent. I loved the cleanliness of the hotel- in every area - it was attention to detail. One of my favorite offerings was the lobby water with citrus fruit in it. The valet parking was undergoing a new process which slowed it a bit but considering the change- the staff handled it very well. We were offered coffee for our short 10 min wait. Overall, this hotel is top notch. Just far enough away from the noise, hustle and bustle to feel peaceful in an otherwise vibrant area.
