Tropical Inn & Suites downtown clearwater

Poor accommodations included, funny smell in room, forced 1030am check out was rude and too early for us as we went to a late show and not enough time to vacate with ease. Never go there again. Paid 160.00 , too much for no amenities no service.

Liked: Convenience to venue.
Disliked: Not enough towels or toiletries; no phone to call front desk; soda machine only food available and it only took quarters. 10:30a.m. check out; no phone to call if trouble; housekeeping woman knocks on door at 1015 and asks if we are ready to leave! Skimpy accommodations.

Disliked: You have to pay $25 to check in early. You have to pay $10 for parking. The room was outdated and air was too loud.

Liked: We only stayed one night as we were just passing through Clearwater after traveling all day from NC, but our room was very nice, spacious, clean, and comfortable. From what we could tell it seemed like it was close to shops, restaurants, and the beaches.
Disliked: Had to pay $10 for parking per night...wasn't expecting that. This is the only reason we didn't give it 10 stars
